Food Pantries in Columbia and Greene Counties

Known changes in food pantry operation based on Covid-19 concerns are noted in bold. If no changes are noted, CCE Columbia and Greene strongly encourage you to reach out to the pantry before going at the listed times.

The below list of food pantries is based on the best of CCE’s knowledge. If you know of changes to the food pantry’s procedure and/or you would like to be removed from/added to the list please contact Rebecca Polmateer at or 518-965-4068.

Covid-19 changes:

1. No more than 3 persons will be allowed in waiting area at any given time, signs are posted.

2. In order to reduce the number of people in waiting area at one time, food pantry hours have been expanded- Food is available any time office is open- 8:30-12, and 1-4 each day.

3. Once paperwork is signed, food pantry recipients will be redirected back to their cars or to wait outside, and staff will bring the food packages to you.

4. Anyone experiencing symptoms of being ill, please refrain from coming in, call first at 518-943-9205 and they will serve you in your car.

Covid-19 changes: Matthew 25 expanded its hours. They will be open one hour earlier than its regular time. They will be open 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Sundays AND 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. They will NOT be allowing anyone to come into the pantry Waiting Room, there will be No Menus and they will not be distributing Clothes or Household goods until this panademic is over. At this time, you can still receive food for your families by entering the back door. A person will be there to take your name and they will hand your food to you according to family size.
