Build your own worm bin!
Composting with worms is a wonderful way to go ‘green’. This approach will keep your kitchen scraps out of the landfills, and also produce worm castings, which will help your garden grow. Learn about composting worms and how they work. You will have the opportunity to take home a living worm compost system.
The Undercover Garden
Enjoy a more productive and healthier harvest by growing ‘under cover’. This approach can extend your vegetable and herb growing season from early spring, into late fall and even through winter. Gardening under cover also prevents damage from insects and critters. At our demo garden, learn first-hand with Dorian Hyland, methods and techniques to start your own under cover garden.
