Shiitake Workshop with NYFOA

Learn how to produce your own Shiitake logs using your less desirable trees. Participants will receive a 40" inoculated log, that you will prepare during our workshop while learning all aspects of production. Lunch, and an informative woods walk by Tracey Testo-Smith of Cornell Cooperative Extension will also be provided. Enjoy this fun filled day sponsored by the NY Forest Owners Association & the Cornell Cooperative Extension, and our friends and neighbors at “The Uplands”.
