Shiitake Log Inoculation Party

Join us at CCE Columbia Greene’s Agroforestry Resource Center for a hands on experience in growing shiitake mushrooms on logs. Help us restock our mushroom yard, learn how to grow shiitakes and take a log home to start your own mushroom yard. An overview of the process, along with shiitake growing tips, will be shared at the beginning of each session. Following that overview, we will get to work with drilling, filling and waxing freshly felled hardwood logs. Work alongside CCE staff, stay for an hour or for the day!
