Maple Festival 2025

Experience a taste of the sweet world of maple sugaring at CCE’s Agroforestry Resource Center. This event will provide participants with the opportunity to tour our own sugar shack, see a demonstration tree tapping, and taste fresh sap. If you want to dive in deeper, sign up for the educational session offered in the afternoon. Visit with Taste NY staff and local venders to purchase all things maple.

Pancake Breakfast

Our pancake breakfast this year will be made by the Phoenicia Diner! Pancakes are made by diner staff using their *NEW* Buttermilk Pancake Mix

Pancake breakfast tickets are available at the door. $15 for adults. $10 for kids under 10.

This is a free event but the optional class below is $20.

Join us at CCE Columbia Greene’s Agroforestry Resource Center to explore the wonderful world of maple. CCE staff will take participants on a journey from the past to the present. Learn about the historical practices of maple sugaring, experience current methods to collect sap, see maple processing equipment in action, taste sap straight from the tree, and take home a tapping kit of your own. This offer includes a short walk up a hill to discuss woodland management for maple production. Please reach out if you have accessibility limitations.
