Earth Day Tree Planting

Come celebrate Earth Day and help build a riparian buffer alongside the Bowery Creek in Siuslaw Model Forest. We will be planting a variety of native tree and shrub species to control erosion, promote biodiversity, and reduce flood vulnerability. And we need your help! Come dressed in clothing you’re ok with getting dirty and be sure to wear closed-toed shoes with a stable footing.

Extra bare root stock of various native trees and shrubs will be available for participants to take home while supplies last.
