The Greene County Youth Fair is a community fair that does not have any part of it organized by Cornell Cooperative Extension or 4-H. It is run exclusively by a volunteer board. CCE will have a number of educational displays available throughout the fair. 4-H is also sponsoring three events that are open to all Greene County youth – those who live in Greene County, go to school in Greene County or belong to a club (4-H, girl scouts, boy scouts, FFA) in Greene County.
4-H members from Columbia County are encouraged to support the 4-H Ice Cream Stand and participate in the Public Presentation Showcase and/or the Fashion Revue.
The Greene County Youth Fair is one of the very few fairs around the country that offers free admission and entertainment for all ages. The fair celebrates the accomplishments of Greene County youth who will help keep the county's agricultural legacy alive for years to come.
This year's Greene County Youth Fair will be held July 27-30, 2023.
