Women’s Fall Forage Walk

Come explore with us at Siuslaw Model Forest, to learn about the value of the woodlands in a new way. Foraging is a great way to get to know your land as a resource for local foods. It’s a wonderful outdoor activity that comes with a great understanding of our interactions with the natural world. Participants will learn what is available on a seasonal basis as well as how to collect food with the help of local resources.

This event is in collaboration with the Catskills | Hudson Valley Chapter of Women Owning Woods (WOW). WOW is a group of women landowners, forest lovers, and natural resources professionals that hosts workshops throughout the year to educate and engage the public with forest stewardship.
