Agroforestry Farm Crawl

Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster and Columbia-Greene Counties and Scenic Hudson for a Farm Crawl to three different farms practicing Agroforestry with a focus on Silvopasture and Nursery Production, followed by a meal and networking session hosted by Sky High Farm. Hear about the planning and implementation of additive Silvopasture for cattle with Sky High Farm, next visit two sites that have been planted with a variety of species into hay fields and chestnuts into a pasture at Chaseholm. Lastly, we will visit an agroforestry and fruit tree nursery and black locust stand being managed by Full Circus Farm and their draft horses. There will be a discussion of propagation of different species and bud grafting.
