Join us for Seed to Supper, a free, beginner-friendly gardening course designed to help you grow healthy food on a budget.
This 6-week series will take place from May 15 to June 17, from 6:00–8:00 PM, at our Extension Education Center. Dates are Wednesdays 5/13, 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, 6/10, and 6/17.
This hands-on course is designed for adults who want to start or improve a vegetable garden, especially those with limited access to growing space. Each session will include both indoor learning and time spent working together in our on-site vegetable garden. We’ll cover the basics—from planning and planting to maintaining and harvesting—so you can build confidence and skills each week.
One of the unique aspects of this program is that participants will have the opportunity to continue gardening in our Extension garden throughout the growing season. For those who don’t have space at home, this offers a chance to keep learning, growing, and harvesting well beyond the class.
All participants will receive:
Important: This course is designed as a complete series—participants are expected to attend all 6 sessions. Space is limited, so please register in advance.
Seed to Supper is a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension and Cornell Garden-Based Learning, focused on helping people grow their own food, build skills, and connect with others.
