COVID-19 Resources

CCE prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of the communities we serve. Given the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, and due to an abundance of caution, all on-site and off-site programs, workshops & 4-H activities (including 4-H Club meetings) are canceled effective immediately until further notice

In addition, our offices will be closed to the public, including our volunteers, beginning at noon on Wednesday, March 18, again, until further notice.

As we work through these trying times Cornell Cooperative Extension continues its mission of providing research-based information to its communities. Please feel free to use the resources on this page knowing that they have been reviewed by our staff. This page will be updated with the services we are providing to the community at this time.

To assist consumers impacted by Covid-19, they have assembled a list of federal, state and land-grant resources that can be viewed at COVID-19 Financial Wellness Resources . Some of those resources are extrapolated below for easy reference:

Even though no one is in the office to take your phone calls, the Master Gardeners are still available to answer your gardening questions. Please reach out to  Donna Peterson at with any questions.

  • Soil Samples: Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, the Cornell Soil Health Laboratory is temporally closed. If you have already collected soil samples, please store the samples at refrigerator temperature until the lab reopens.
