4-H Public Presentations 2022 took place over the course of two weeks in early April at the CCE offices in Hudson and Acra. Nearly 60 youth across both counties took on the challenge of choosing a topic and presenting it to their peers and volunteer evaluators.
Public speaking can often be intimidating, but these youth met the challenge head on. Many participated in the 4-H Public Speaking Series offered at the Hudson CCE office and Cairo Library throughout March.
The ability to clearly communicate an idea is a powerful tool and necessary skill that will help all youth achieve their goals. By participating in Public Presentations, youth are investing in their future and setting themselves up for success. Many youth refer to their presentations year after year as their favorite and most rewarding part of 4-H.
Congratulations to all!
