The Healthy Family Cooking Workshop: Slow Cookers is an opportunity for caregivers to get into the kitchen and learn how to cook alongside their children. CCE Program Director, Becky Polmateer will walk families through the preparation of a healthy recipe intended for the slow cooker. She will highlight appropriate cooking techniques for every age so that the whole family can get in on the fun in the kitchen. At the end of the program, families will be able to leave with a prepared meal in their new slow cooker (they will only need to plug it in and let it cook at home), as well as the kid-friendly kitchen equipment they used during the program. For more information, contact Becky Polmateer at 518-622-9820 X117 or [email protected].
